The reception

Later that evening, we will celebrate by visiting Egypt and the Late Cretaceous period at The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis.

The museum holds special meaning for both of us. Adam was a youth volunteer when the museum hosted Children’s Express, a news organization for kids that has now become Y-Press. Renée was a regular volunteer in the Dinosphere exhibit for two-plus years, spending at least 200 hours a year there. The couple is excited to share this place of extraordinary experiences with family and friends.

The museum is easily reached from Southport. Take I-65 North to exit 116 (29th Street). Turn right onto West 29th Street (it is one-way, so this part is easy), then turn left at the fourth traffic light, onto Illinois. The museum garage entrance will be clearly marked, about a block and a half up on the left.

The museum provides a free parking garage. We recommend parking on at least Level 2 for easy access to the pedestrian walkway over Illinois Street.
